Its original numbers matching. 302 V8 with a c4 automatic transmission. She runs strong, new shocks all around, tires are perfect and the rims are still new, brakes are perfect. Me and my father restored this car over about 7 years. Its been driven roughly 4000 miles over those 7 years. The cars paint is about 4 years old and looks awesome. The convertible top is 2 years old and the boot goes to the winner. The engine and tranny were pulled last summer and rebuilt (cost $2500). The engine has a bunch of bolt ons that were all professionally installed- hooker headers w/ flowmaster dual exhaust, weiand water pump, msd 6a igntion box, msd probillet distributor, holley 670 carb, edelbrock chrome intake, crane energizer cam w/ lifters, hardened pushrods along with a set of cast iron world product heads. All original engine parts are included in the auction (intake, exhaust manifolds, heads, distributor, 2barrel). It has magnum 500 rims that were a option in 1971 as well as the ram air hood. The interior is black and freshly redone it looks immaculate. All the panels are solid and no rust on this car. The chrome all around the car is excellent. Also, an alpine cd player is installed with JL audio component speakers installed in all the factory locations (but can be returned to stock AM/FM radio if desired). The engine is clean enough to eat off of and the cars paint has been well maintained. I've shown this car numerous time and its placed everytime! People come up to me and go thats the nicest 1971 mustang color combination Ive ever seen. The car is trully awesome and the only reason why im selling is because im going to college and im too crazy when it comes to people being near the car and the possibility of something happening to it. The car simply sits in the garage with a cover on it and is never enjoyed as much as it should be. Please if you want a classic to enjoy this is the car for you!
