It was built in a way (hydraulic lifters) that requires less maintenance than the stock engine. Only thing you have to do is change the oil and run high octane fuel with extra booster. Other details The car also came with factory power brakes and power steering. If you were to ask what I would change, it would be molding around the windows. It's shinny but not striaght. Please look at the close up of the side rear window molding. It is damage and I haven't been able to locate better molding. We also put in roll down back windows (not standard on this car) because the car looks a lot cooler with all the windows down. One piece of the trim just got a dent in it the other day. Don't worry, the dentie was given a slow painful death. It has been completely restored. This was going to be the show piece for our restoration business but we have decided that it's to risky to start a business this day and age.
