1970 Mustang For Sale

| 1970 Boss 302 one of a kind documented “”sales promotion vehicle””
The BOSS 302 Mustang was produced in 1969 and 1970 to race in the SCCA TRANS AM race circuit, which it won in 1970. Only the minimum amount (8000) of cars were produced in 1969 and 1970 to homolagate the race requirements. This is a factory race car in street trim. I am the second owner, owned over 29 yrs. Featured in Mustang Monthly Feb 2004 ""Best of the Bosses"" issue as the best optioned Boss 302. This is a full numbers matching, special ordered car with an original sticker price of nearly $5000. (Standard/ average sticker price per NADA $3700). Factory installed options include: Lime metallic paint (code G) Deluxe ginger decor interior with blazer stripped cloth seats (code cf) Sport deck rear seat Rear deck spoiler Shaker Sport Slats Wide ratio Trans Traction-lock Differential with optional 3.91gears (code V) with engine oil cooler (drag pack) Convenience check group (auto seatback release, head lamp on alarm, map light, trunk light, glove box light) Electric clock (round) Floor console Power steering with cooler AM/FM stereo Decor group Tinted glass Heavy duty battery Deluxe seat belts w/ warning lamp Tachometer w/trip odometer Magnum 500 wheels Dealer installed: Koni shocks, one piece Shelby export brace, vintage Ford muscle parts steel bellhousing, hood locks (Mach 1 style), Ultra rare aluminum gated ""T""OIL PAN W/boss 302 script. Owner installed: Floor console gage pod, K&N air filter, urethane sway bar end link bushings front and rear. This car has never undergone any restoration it is a very well maintained survivor/driver. It has all its factory original Boss specific parts. The only thing missing is the air pump set up. The original 39 year old paint and interior and underside still look great. The body is 99.999% rust free with only two 1/8 inch bubbles on the passenger side rear quarter, possibly due to a dent repair before my purchase back in 1979. The exterior chrome and bright work is in mint shape. The original engine was treated to a full balance and blueprint rebuild back in 1984 to repair the known piston skirt cracking problem since that time the engine has logged only 5000 miles. The detailed Boss engine has all its correct dated items (carb, distributer, fuel pump, etc.). It still retains the original factory exhaust and factory applied undercoating (the sound deadner / undercoat only comes with a deluxe interior). Runs and drives like a dream. This car is a true unique conversation piece and if new paint and detailing are done , it will be an incredible investment. Included with sale will be the complete documentation package which includes: Build sheet, Eminger report, deluxe Marti report, window sticker copy, warranty card, metal engine build tag, carburetor tag, Ford 999 report an additional dealer related paperwork. Also included are a NOS stripe kit, new chrome louver hinges, NOS door weather stripping, and 10 yards of very rare NOS stripped cloth that Ford used on the seat inserts. The rareity, options and condition of this car are very hard to find. With this economic disaster still looming, this is going to be your only chance to own a Survivor Boss at a low price. (The best restored cars in the world come from the best unrestored cars). This is the real deal! Phone after 7pm NY time 516-797-0154 email Jdemarti@optonline.net |
