Classic 1986 Mustang SVO - less than 65,000 original miles. 3rd Owner
Thank you for taking a look at this listing. I have for you a great buy. This Mustang is one of only a few thousand still in operation. With less than 10,000 Mustang SVOs produced between 1984 and 1986, you would be lucky to find one such as this.
A little history on the car:
Originally bought in 1986 back east (New Jersey). It was owned by a couple. When the husband died, the car remained garaged and maintained by a very nice lady. She then sold it to a buyer in California and that is who I bought it from. The 2nd owner took it to car shows and it has won several prizes.
I have kept this car in pretty much original condition. Prior to me purchasing it, the 2nd owner put on Mustang Cobra rims. I still have the original rims tucked away in the garage. There are a few updates, such as a K&N air filter (again, original in my garage) to make it run smoother.
This car has the original paint, engine and transmission. I have some Ebach springs in my garage that can be used to lower it to give it a stiffer ride and a sweet low profile look. This car has been great for me. I have had it for approximately 3 years. I have kept up on the regular maintenance and have had no problems. The 2.3 liter turbo charged 4 cylinder engine is quite peppy and gave my friend with a turbo charged WRX a run for his money! She is a dream to drive!
