This is a 1966 Mustang Coupe, one owner, 6 cylinder, 3 speed with manual steering and brake. California black plate. Purchased on February 28, 1966 in Carpinteria, California. My father Special ordered the coupe with a Silver Rose exterior and black pin stripe. If I am not mistaken the Silver Rose was a Lincoln color. It was also ordered without rear panel ornaments. Data trim plate: 65C blank 36 21B 71 1990 3 1 vin# 6RO7T168957.
In the last several months, the following parts were replaced: tires, clutch, muffler, shocks, aluminum radiator and hoses, valve cover, water pump, alternator, rear main seal, thermostat, reupholstered front bench seat, exhaust manifold, battery.
Car runs great. Unforutnately, I am unable to drive a manual anymore. So I am looking to find it a good home.
